A FREE breakfast briefing that will enable local businesses to find out about the new Gold Star Service Excellence award scheme.

Only 10 businesses in Northern Ireland have achieved this prestigious award to date but many more from accountancy firms to hotels are well on their way to achieving it.

Representatives from two NI companies, Boomer Industries and Neal Lucas Recruitment, will speak at this event and share their experiences of working and achieving the Gold Star Service Excellence award.

Town Centre Manager Mechelle Brown said, “The idea of delivering good customer service has been recognised for many years. But in the current economic climate good customer service can make all the difference between bust and boom. We hope that this breakfast briefing will give businesses valuable information about how they can engage in the Gold Star Service Excellence award scheme and improve the service they provide to customers.”

The council will also offer financial assistance to the first six companies from the district that sign up to the Gold Star Service Excellence award, enabling the costs of pursuing this goal to be significantly reduced.
