Renowned for their development of high efficiency heating products, Grant Engineering began researching and developing this new wood pellet boiler in 2006. A significant amount of time and money went into the research and development, which was followed by four years of intensive field testing before the boiler was officially launched in the market place. A working model of the boiler is now visiting all key merchants across Northern Ireland.

“To coincide with the launch of our new Grant Spira condensing wood pellet boiler, a mobile display and information unit, which features a working model of the boiler has been travelling throughout Northern Ireland over the past few weeks and we are delighted with the positive response that we have been getting from both the public and our local merchants,” said Niall Fay, General Manager, Grant Engineering Ireland.

“Our new condensing wood pellet boiler is making it easier than ever for homeowners to incorporate renewable energy into their home, benefit from real savings on their energy bills and reduce their carbon footprint. What’s more, through the proposed Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI), homeowners will receive money for installing MCS approved appliances including the Grant condensing wood pellet boiler, ” adds Niall.

Using the Grant Spira condensing wood pellet boiler is simple as it is fully automatic and uses advanced controls, which regulate the amount of fuel being delivered to the burner. Using a locally produced, high quality, ENPlus accredited fuel such as brites is recommended, which are fed via an auger connected to the adjacent pellet store/hopper that holds up to 110 kg of fuel. A bulk hopper for pellet storage can also be installed which will help achieve even further savings.
