Henry Bros and Roadside Motors team up in new deal

PEUGEOT dealership, Roadside Motors Ltd, Moneymore, has embarked on a long term partnership with local construction and manufacturing business, Henry Brothers Ltd.

Roadside Motors Ltd, situated on Magherafelt Road, Moneymore, has secured a contract to provide the company with a fleet of 25 Peugeot vehicles, the single biggest order for Peugeot in Northern Ireland.

Henry Brothers Ltd, part of the Henry Group, employing over 500 people, is a privately owned construction and manufacturing organisation, primarily involved in building, civil engineering and facilities management.

To launch the partnership, Neil Hunter, national key account manager for Peugeot, organised an exclusive event at the Ramada Shaw’s Bridge Hotel in Belfast, on Wednesday May 16, where Ian Henry, managing director at Henry Brothers Ltd, became one of the first people in the country to drive the two new HYbrid4 models, the 3008 and 508 RXH.

Neil explained: “We wanted to use the event as an opportunity to allow Henry Brothers the opportunity to get up close and personal with the new HYbrid vehicles. The event was particularly special as Ian Henry was actually one of the first people in Northern Ireland to get behind the wheel of these newly launched models.

“As a result of the event, Henry Brothers have taken a 3008 HYbrid demonstrator for a few weeks to see if they could incorporate this into their current car fleet going forward.”

As part of the 25 vehicle contract, Roadside Motors Ltd will service the vehicles, including a range of Partner vans, 407, 308 and 207 models throughout their lifespan and provide on-going fleet support to the business.

Speaking about the partnership, Ian said::

“Over the past 37 years, our business has gone from strength to strength. Our key aims when procuring our fleet was to reduce carbon emissions and to use local suppliers.

“With the help and expertise of Roadside Motors, we have been able to achieve both of these goals.”

Robert Hazeldon, dealer principle at Roadside Motors Ltd, said: “The Peugeot Partner vans along with the 407, 308 and 207 were a natural choice for Henry Brothers Ltd, due to their practical designs, including multiple access points to all areas of the vehicles, Bluetooth and air conditioning as standard.

“These features, coupled with low running costs and an attractive contract hire agreement meant that Peugeot was the number one choice.”
