Client Development Director of CIPD Karen McMillan congratulated the attendees. She commented: “Encouraging people to join the profession is absolutely vital so I’m pleased to see so many high calibre professionals graduating and delighted to report an 18 per cent growth in the number of new student members in 2014 coming into CIPD membership, a level of growth that suggests the future of the profession is bright.”

“The changing nature of work, the workforce and the workplace continue to put people issues at the top of the agenda for all of us, for governments and organisations alike.

“This creates great opportunities for us professionals, but also challenges us to step up, to more confidently engage in debate and strategy at the highest levels, and to bring more insight and understanding about the people issues that should guide business decisions.”

Lynn Carson, who established DMS in 1999, added: “It has been a pleasure to work with our candidates in the last 15 years and the success of the 82 individuals who have completed their CIPD qualification with DMS in the past year shows that we continue to add value to the HR&D Profession throughout industry in Northern Ireland.

“I am delighted to have presented Stephen with his certificate. This just adds value to the professionalism and talent in this area of Northern Ireland.”
