John and Niall also own O’Briens Pharmacy and McGlaughlin’s Pharmacy in Magherafelt, and are passionate about supporting the communities in which their pharmacies are based.
The Pharmacy had collection boxes out during the celebrations to raise money for Charis Cancer Care, a charity that provides vital support to local people and families affected by cancer.
A total of £850 was raised charity through the 30th anniversary celebrations, and John and Niall O’Brien kindly matched the donations, bringing the total raised to £1,700 to support the charity’s work.
The Charis Cancer Care team visited the pharmacy during the celebration week to give customers the opportunity to find out more about the work that they do within the Mid Ulster community.
The anniversary celebrations were enjoyed by staff and customers who called at the pharmacy.
