This new campaign, which is being held in partnership with Lisburn businesses, aims to boost the local economy and attract shoppers to the city centre.

Retailers in the City Centre will be open from 9am – 9pm on Friday November 25 to give everyone the opportunity to take advantage of their discount offers and are hoping to see many customers in the city centre supporting local businesses.

"I would encourage everyone to shop locally on Black Friday and of course on the run up to Christmas, to keep our high streets buzzing and business doors open.

“We have a fantastic range of retailers, coffee shops and restaurants, there is something for everyone in Lisburn.”

Endorsing the Black Friday marketing scheme, President of the Lisburn Chamber of Commerce, Dr Katrina Collins, said: “Let’s make Lisburn the only place to be on Black Friday and rally up as much support to our local and independent businesses.
