BUSINESSES in the Banbridge district are being encouraged to demonstrate that they are the best in class by entering the annual local business awards.

The SEED consortium of Councils (Armagh, Banbridge, Craigavon and Newry & Mourne) have launched their annual Business Awards to help reward and recognise the most innovative and successful businesses across the Council areas.

Commenting on the Business Awards, Elaine McAlinden Enterprise Development Officer at Banbridge District Council says, “This is the second year of the SEED business awards which are targeted at the local business community to recognise their efforts in the current economic climate.

“The application process is user friendly and we would encourage all local businesses to participate. These business awards form a key part of our support to local businesses as part of the SEED Promoting Sustainable Enterprise programme and the awards will be presented at the Get up and Grow Business Conference on June 13 which is taking place in the Canal Court Hotel, Newry.”

Simon Devlin, from organisers Full Circle Management Solutions Ltd, explained, “This award competition is aimed at local businesses in the four council areas and is a great opportunity for local businesses to highlight their achievements and secure some great publicity.
