Local MLAs for Ballymena ‘speed networking’ event

The Northern Ireland Assembly will host a ‘Get Involved’ event in Ballymena on Friday (April 4).

The event is part of the Assembly Community Connect (ACC) initiative which aims to help local community and voluntary sector groups to work more effectively with the Assembly and its committees.

A ‘Speed Networking’ session will give community groups and individuals a great opportunity to speak directly to their constituency MLAs about local issues and concerns.

The event will also include training workshops and presentations on the work of the Assembly and provide advice on how groups can give evidence to Assembly Committees and contribute effectively to Committee inquiries.

The ACC ‘Get Involved’ event will be held in All Saints Parish Centre from 10am and until 2.15pm.
