Mr Swann said: “In terms of the arts, our constituency was well and truly placed on the global stage with the popularity of Game of Thrones, which featured the Dark Hedges and Ballintoy harbour as locations.

“As a result, there was a boost in local trade and tourism. We want to see this enthusiasm return to North Antrim. That’s why I am encouraging movie makers and TV programme producers to use the terrific locations we have in the constituency to make more films and programmes.

“This will also have a knock-on effect on local business and especially the tourism industry. And given the cost of living crisis which many families and individuals are facing, perhaps a movie set in North Antrim would give us all a welcome morale boost.”
