Minister visits GoT studio tour

11/09/20 REPRO FREE..Economy Minister Diane Dodds visited Linen Mill Studios in Banbridge to view progress on the project to transform the studio into the Game of Thrones(r) Studio Tour visitor attraction. The iconic, globally popular show was filmed principally in Northern Ireland, with Linen Mill Studios the location for a significant proportion of filming. Linen Mill Studios is working with the show's maker, HBO, to progress the project, which will comprise imagery, sets, original props and costumes, and other behind-the-scenes items from the show. When it opens in 2021, the attraction will be the only permanent officially licensed Game of Thrones(r) experience in the world and a further significant boost to Northern Ireland's tourism offering.
