Upper Bann MP Carla Lockhart has called for the Department of Health to issue more clarity on when the salons can reopen.

Mrs Lockhart said: “So we are taking some small steps forward and I welcome that.

“I have literally had dozens of hairdressers get in touch regarding clarity for re-opening and what they need to do to prepare.

“I have again written to the Department of Health asking for clarity around a potential date to open and what measures they need to put in place to protect themselves and their customers.

“I will keep you up to date with the response!”
