NITB Roadshows highlightstourism funding

The Northern Ireland Tourist Board (NITB) has run a series of roadshows to promote its Tourism Innovation Fund and ensure applicants do not miss the 11th July closing date.

The roadshows at Bushmills Distillery in County Antrim, Belfasts W5 and Todds Leap in County Tyrone highlighted the opportunities available in the major new funding mechanism, which opened for applications in June.  The easy four step application process can be completed online. However the events also stressed the importance of the deadline for applications, which is noon on 11 July.

Administered by NITB, the Tourism Innovation Fund can provide up to £100,000 of financial support to eligible projects that offer unique experiences and services of appeal to prospective visitors.

NITB believes the funding will help local businesses and organisations to grow through innovation and collaboration and at the same time support the development of inspiring visitor experiences and improved visitor services.
