PwC Business Insight opportunity for Carrick duo

Two Carrickfergus Grammar School pupils will be further developing their accountancy skills this summer.

Josh Boyd and Sophie McFall from Carrickfergus Grammar School have been offered a place on the PwC Business Insight Week programme.

This is run for students who are considering a career in accounting, finance and consultancy when they leave school. It allows them the opportunity to work with some of the most successful companies and high profile public sector organisations in the world by spending an action-packed week in a PwC office during their summer holiday.

Successful applicants get to spend time with teams working on live projects, and buddy up with a school and college leaver or graduate joiner to get a unique insight into how the world of business works.

To get on to this programme pupils had to apply online, take a competency-based test and complete a telephone interview.
