Secretary of State drops into Donaghy’s
The Secretary of State met with Peter McVeigh, Managing Director and Thomas McVeigh, a partner in the business on Thursday when he took a walk around the store and chatted to some of the team as well as customers. He was shown social distancing measures in place including the mobile screens which Donaghy’s have put in place for trying on shoes.
Peter McVeigh, MD, Donaghy’s said: “We were happy to host the Secretary of State for a walk around the store. We are very proud of our team for how they have adjusted to the new measures put in place and how customers have responded to our efforts. We took the opportunity to speak to Mr Lewis MP about the difficulties in the retail sector going forward and how businesses here will need continued Government support.
