In Northern Ireland, Carrickfergus is second only to Limavady on 6.1 per cent when it comes to entrepreneurialism, according to figures from the UK’s official registrar of businesses, Companies House.

Remarkably, the town is only just behind London on 4.9 per cent.

Meanwhile, a coastal tourism hub programme to create 10 new jobs and safeguard 20 more has reached the halfway stage with the innovative package of support developed by Carrickfergus Enterprise.
