We’ve made it easier to enter this year: application forms are available at the Larne Times reception, 8 Dunluce Street, and online: see our web site www.larnetimes.co.uk and click on the Business Awards tab at the top of the home page. In that section you will find an e-book giving entry criteria, as well as an application form. You can also enter using the coupon published on the bottom right of Page 13.

Anyone can make a nomination, whether a satisfied customer, or maybe you own or work for a business in the Larne area (the district formerly served by Larne Borough Council).

Two of the most coveted awards – Readers’ Favourite Restaurant/Cafe and Best Customer Service – are those voted for by Larne Times readers (see the coupon provided on Page 13). Businesses nominated in these two categories will be listed in the Larne Times and readers will be invited to vote for their favourite cafe/restaurant, or for the firm they believe delivers the best customer service. The Best Customer Service award is sponsored by power ni.

P&O Ferries sponsors the Excellence in Tourism award; Gaelectric the award for Best Environmental Business; and LEDCOM a new award for the best new business start-up in the area in the past two years.
