Times joins sponsors of North Antrim Business Awards for 2011

As the sponsor of the Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award the Ballymoney and Moyle Times are one of the 18 Category Sponsors, and are encouraging businesses to take part in the North Antrim Business Awards which are being organised by Accelerate Business Support Agency.

Times Editor Lyle McMullan stated, “We have been working closely with Accelerate Business Support Agency over the past few months to help them develop the 2011 North Antrim Business Awards, and we’re now very excited that the Business Awards Gala Event is nearing!”

“The Ballymoney and Moyle Times believe that the Business Awards will celebrate the achievements of North Antrim businesses and showcase what’s great about the North Antrim business community.”

Lyle added, “We sponsored the Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award because we know how important young entrepreneurs are for the growth of the North Antrim economy, and we were keen to highlight and showcase these achievements.”

The Business Awards are being coordinated by Accelerate Business Support Agency, and this will be the 4th Business Awards initiative in as many years that Director Marc McGerty has organised.

Marc stated, “We are delighted that the Ballymoney and Moyle Times are sponsoring the Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award of the 2011 North Antrim Business Awards.”

“Earlier this week we posted over 800 North Antrim Business Award Information Packs to businesses in Ballymoney and Moyle Council areas to explain about the Business Awards, and we will be encouraging businesses to make nominations for individuals and companies that they think are deserving of a North Antrim Business Award.”

“Nominations must be made by 4.00pm on Wednesday 9th March 2011. You can nominate online at www.northantrimbusinessawards.com which will only take then 30 seconds to complete, or you can complete the Nomination Form that was included in the Information Pack’s sent out earlier this week.”

“Businesses can nominate themselves, and businesses can be nominated by customers, suppliers, friends, and even family. We don’t divulge where the nomination comes from so don’t be shy and get thinking about who you want to nominate!”
