Town nursing home is to create 10 jobs

TEN jobs are to be created thanks to an expansion at a Banbridge nursing home.

A recruitment fair is being held at Bannview Care Home in the town on March 15 between 1pm and 6pm to enable interested individuals to learn more about the opportunities available, the company, its ethos and the training and development on offer.

Amore Care, part of the Priory Group of Companies which owns the care home, is expanding its portfolio of care services and creating around 80 jobs across Northern Ireland including a significant number of nursing roles.

Deborah Oktar-Campbell, Operations Director for Amore Care in Northern Ireland, encouraged anyone who was interested in working at Bannview to come along to the open day.

Since 2009, Amore Care has opened seven care homes across Northern Ireland. The development and expansion of the new services has led to opportunities for both nurses and carers.

Six care homes for older people in Newtownabbey, Banbridge, Coleraine, Belfast, Warrenpoint and Newtownards and a specialist learning disability and mental health facility in Armagh have opportunities for experienced, skilled care and nursing professionals.
