Toy retailer to create 35 new jobs with opening of Newtownabbey superstore

The new store, located in a 21,500 sq/ft unit at Valley Retail Park, near Rathcoole, is due to officially open on Saturday, July 30.

The company says its expansion will create around 35 jobs in the local area, ranging from retail assistants to management positions.

The Valley Retail Park opening will take the company’s total store estate in the UK and Ireland to 91, with plans to open a further 10 to 15 stores over the next year.

Smyths Toys’ move into Valley Retail Park means all units at the Church Road site are now occupied.
