Carrickfergus Grammar year 11 pupils Ryan Clarke, Chloe Duncan, Raymond Gray, Jessica Hutchinson and Grainne White travelled to Grosvenor Grammar School, Belfast, for the event.

Employing effective teamwork and communication, the team had to analyse data from various sources and make a decision ahead of the other participants.

As part of the challenge, the group members also completed written reports on their approach to ethical investing and the team’s investment strategies in general.

“The pupils really benefitted from seeing what it is like to compete in the busy world of buying and selling shares and enjoyed the event,” added Carrickfergus Grammar School in a statement.
