Ulster Bank boost for Balmoral Show as it makes historic move to new site

THE Balmoral Show has received a major boost as it gets ready to make its historic move to a new site in May.

The RUAS and Ulster Bank have announced that the bank will be the principal sponsor of the show in its new home at Balmoral Park. It will be the only banking sponsor at the show as part of the new deal.

The show, the largest of its kind on the island, will take place at the new venue for the first time from 15-17 May.

“Ulster Bank’s support is extremely helpful as we seek to continue to promote Northern Ireland’s agri-food sector,” he said, “and shows us the confidence that Ulster Bank has in the success of Balmoral Show at its new home.

“Together with Ulster Bank we look forward to welcoming everyone to the event in May as the Balmoral Show takes this historic step.”

Ian Jordan, Director, Corporate Banking Division, Ulster Bank, said: “We are delighted to build on the success of our partnership with the RUAS and the Balmoral Show, which is so important to the agri-food sector.
