Unemployment rise in Coleraine
UNEMPLOYMENT in Coleraine has risen slightly.
Figures released by the Labour Market show that the number of jobless in the Coleraine Borough Council area in June has risen by 1.8% since this time last year.
The latest statistics show that there are currently 1,721 people out of work in the area - that’s 1,270 men and 451 women.
However, the unemployment figures for June were better than those in May, falling by 1.9%.
