Dunbarton C 67 (4.5pts) v Belmont C 65 (2.5pts). The Dunbarton Midweek team produced a tremendous performance last Wednesday night to defeat a strong Belmont C team in a cracking encounter.

This game went right to the wire with Sean Breen's four last on and one shot separating the sides. Thankfully the home rink held their nerve to score that all important single and scrape home by two shots, despite only having one winning rink!

And it was mainly Sean's rink they had to thank as they led from start to finish to win by a commanding 13 shots. Whilst Aidan Magennis' four were unable to win, they must take huge credit as they fought back from a ten shot deficit to score a last end single to tie their match, a vital comeback for the team. On the other two rinks, things did not go so well.

Gary Feeney's four started well and actually led 14-10 before enduring a disappointing run in to lose by four shots. Meanwhile Gordy Magennis and his front three never recovered from the loss of an early count of 6 and finished behind by seven shots.
