Ballymoney High School pupil Aleah set to compete at NI Public Speaking competition
A Ballymoney High School student is preparing to compete in the Northern Ireland final of Soroptimist International NI’s Public Speaking competition.
Aleah Booth will represent Ballymoney & District at the Northern Ireland Final which will be held on Saturday, February 7, in Royal Hillsborough Village Centre.
The High School student secured her place in the finals back in November when she beat off competition from 13 girls from five local schools in the Ballymoney heat which was held in the Old Schoolhouse in the town.
First place winners from each of the province's Soroptimist International clubs will compete on Saturday with great prizes to be won and certificates for all entrants.

Soroptimist International is a global volunteer movement whose mission is to transform the lives and status of women and girls through education, empowerment and enabling opportunities.
The aim of the Public Speaking competition is to help girls develop their communication skills and to enhance their future studies and career opportunities.
Good luck Aleah!
