Belfast High School welcomes new Year 8 students

Pupils attended on August 21 for the first of their induction sessions, taking part in ice-breaker games with their form teachers and form prefects.

On August 24 and 25, they travelled to Ganaway Activity Centre for team building activities. Induction sessions with their form teacher included a tour of the school, finger/face scanning for the canteen, school photographs, the Translink Road Safety Bus, and spending time with their new classmates.

Timetabled classes began on the afternoon of August 26, with the Year 8s finishing their week by taking part in the whole-school Abaana fundraiser.
