“As well as expert training, we also offer a mix of general work placements and music industry placements, giving the students a chance to experience what it’s really like out there – it’s all about equipping students with real-life skills that will help them make it in a tough industry!”
The exhilarating 20 week programme is led by music professionals and industry experts who will guide participants through everything from making, producing and recording music to interview and employment skills.
During the programme, students gain valuable experience recording with professional studio equipment, learning how to work the most up to date, exciting hardware and software and, perhaps most importantly of all, they are taught a wide range of employment skills from people who have made it in the music industry.

The course combines expert training, one to one music mentoring with experienced industry professionals and a full placement of at least eight weeks. Tutors are on hand to provide realistic advice about finding a job in the industry and offer further skills training through one-to-one mentoring.
Each participant has the opportunity to put these newfound skills to use in their extended work placement. With a range of contacts in various industries that include the music, entertainment, arts and retail industries, Beat ‘N’ Track matches each student up to a work placement that suits their needs. This programme is invaluable for giving students experience in an industry that many traditional educational and job search outlets ignore.
