The children had all been learning to skip before their big fundraising day. They were split into mixed age groups and they moved round the various skipping stations set up in the school playground.

The variety of skipping activities included speed skipping, skipping tricks, skipping with a long rope and hula hoop skipping. A great day of fun activites was had by all!

Local Lead Volunteer, Mr Jimmy Walker, visited the school recently to collect the fantastic sum of money that the children had raised. He talked to the children about how important a healthy diet and exercise is.
