It seems our appetite for gardening is set to continue and SERC are keen to welcome potential green fingered students to a special Horticulture webinar to showcase what is on offer at the College at 3pm on Wednesday May 26.

Claire Dunwoody, Horticulture Lecturer at SERC said, “We have been offering Horticulture courses at the College for a number of years and have developed a comprehensive programme for the beginner through to more experienced gardeners. The learning never stops in gardening whether you garden for the sheer pleasure, want to grow your own vegetables, design your garden to suit your lifestyle or want to develop your skills and knowledge for a career in the horticulture sector, there really is something for everyone at SERC.

“The webinar will be hosted by our horticulture lecturing team and they will answer any questions and take participants through our programmes from the RHS L2 Certificate in Horticulture to OCN L2 Awards in Garden Design, Organic Fruit & Vegetable Growing, and Floral Design, also offered at Level 3. In addition we offer OCN programmes in Autumn/Winter Gardening & Spring/Summer Gardening and a range of leisure courses including Gardening, Organic Fruit & Vegetable Growing and Floral Art.
