Lively session for U3A

A LIVELY group assembled for the monthly meeting of East Antrim University of the Third Age (U3A).

Chairman David Nesbitt welcomed new and existing members and introduced the speaker, Ivan Nelson, an historian at Queen’s University who gave a magnificent insight into the eye-catching Victorian building and its uses.

Meetings present an opportunity for updates from the various U3A groups, which include interests as diverse as practical and visual arts, computer starters, family history, gardening. music and theatre.
