Online applications available at NWRC

North West Regional College has launched a brand new online application form for those wishing to apply for full-time courses starting in September 2012, responding to requests from applicants and the public.

With access to the internet from computers and mobile devices on the increase, the College has for the first time developed an easy to use system to allow those considering a full-time course, to submit their application entirely online at www.nwrc.ac.uk.

This development comes as the College experiences a further increase in applications for full-time study. In comparison to the same period last year, the College has received a 54% increase in applications for full-time courses for school-leavers and those wishing to return to full-time education.

This significant increase follows the £20m investment in the College’s buildings at the Strand Road Campus, as well as developments to improve and enhance the student experience and resources at the Limavady Campus. This summer the Strabane Campus will undergo further developments providing new learning spaces and facilities. The learning environment complements the high quality of education and training delivered across the College, showcased recently by major awards and accolades in skills including the STEM areas, construction, hairdressing and beauty therapy, music, media, hospitality and catering and business.

The new online application form makes it easier than ever before to submit an application for any of the courses ranging from Level 1 to Level 5 offered on a full-time basis at any of the College’s three main campuses. The form can be found by clicking on the apply ‘online’ icon on the homepage of the College website: www.nwrc.ac.uk. Once completed, the applicant will receive a confirmation number advising them their application has been submitted successfully.

With such a high number of applications already received this year the College is advising those still to apply to complete their application sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.
