Outstanding ‘A’level results for Dalriada students

Mr Tom Skelton, Headmaster of Dalriada School, is delighted at the results achieved by Sixth Form students.

24 Upper Sixth formers achieved at least one of the recently introduced A* grades at A level.

77% of the Upper Sixth Form obtained at least 3 A-C grades almost 40% of all A level grades at Dalriada were A* or A grades, further enhancing the school’s reputation as an outstanding grammar school.

In the Lower Sixth form the AS results were also impressive. A total of 20 students obtained at least 3A grades each, and of these 10 achieved the maximum 4 A grades each.

90 % of all AS grades obtained by Dalriada students were A-C.

Reflecting on the continuing academic success, Mr Skelton commented, “I am delighted and proud of our pupils’ impressive examination results. In addition, these young people have made a huge contribution to the extra curricular life of the school, reflecting the unique ethos which continues to exist here at Dalriada. Our leavers have developed into fine young citizens and I wish them every success.
