Past pupil inspires New Bridge students

NEW Bridge Integrated College, past pupil, Lee Doran was invited into the College last week to talk to Year 10 pupils during Options Week.

Year 10 pupils are currently choosing their subjects for GCSE and Lee kindly came in to share his experiences as a past pupil and explain how his choices inspired him to follow the route to being a local young successful entrepreneur.

Lee studied A Level Art in New-Bridge Integrated College with a particular focus on the ‘Human Body’. A visit to the ‘Body Worlds Exhibition’ inspired his A Level art work piece. It was the theory preparation on the ‘Human Body’ which proved so interesting to Lee that he went on to complete a HND in Sports Science in Newry. Lee continued his education in Belfast Metropolitan College where he achieved diplomas in Anatomy and Physiology, Sports Massage, Swedish Massage and Health and Safety.
