She explained that the school received five GCSEs A*-C at 97.7%, five GCSEs A*-C including English and Maths at 70.45%, seven GCSEs A*-C at 79.54 % and seven GCSE including English and Maths at 65.9%.

Miss Gillan said: “I am delighted with our GCSE results which are a direct outcome of the positive relationships between pupils and staff in the classroom.

“These results show the resilience of staff in their support of our children and their open and honest communication with parents. We have surpassed the NI norms for post primary schools in Northern Ireland and even though we acknowledge this excellent academic achievement we are mindful that it is also very much our caring ethos which has nurtured our pupils to this success.”
