Successful careers night atSt Michael’s Grammar School

St Michael’s Grammar School Careers Department recently held two very successful ‘Mock Interview’ nights for the Upper Sixth Students.

Thirty Five professionals came into the school during two evenings, helping the students to develop their skills.

Professionals gave positive, well informed advice and interviewed them on a one to one basis.

“The 140 students found the experience invaluable and it really helped them to focus on their aspirations,” according to a school spokesperson.

“After group feedback at the end of the night the students were definitely more focussed on attaining success in their forthcoming A Level exams in order to ensure that they get their desired course at university or in further education.

“As a school we acknowledge the people who have helped at Careers events over the years, many of whom are past pupils.

“We appreciate their loyalty, sincerity and willingness to take students on work experience.
