Young Enterprise Centre of Excellence Award

The Centres of Excellence Award winners were announced at the Young Enterprise Northern Ireland ‘Your Future in Business’ Gala Graduation in April at the Tullyglass Hotel, Ballymena.

On presenting the Award to the school, Jeff Gallagher, Development Manager for Young Enterprise’s North West Region, commented: “Lisneal College has been working with Young Enterprise for many years, to promote business and enterprise to pupils, in order to help them develop skills and qualities which will undoubtedly help them in their future careers.

“This award recognises the fact that the school has facilitated a large amount of Young Enterprise business programmes over a considerable number of years, in partnership with business leaders from the local community.

“All Young Enterprise Programmes complement the new NI Curriculum, which challenges schools to add value to students’ learning experience, and Lisneal College thoroughly deserves this recognition.

We are delighted to present this Centre of Excellence Award to Lisneal College, and look forward to working with them in partnership for many years to come,” he said.

Young Enterprise is building a connected world of young people, business volunteers and educators, inspiring each other to succeed through enterprise.

Each year, its business volunteers inspire over 95,000 young people aged 5 to 25 years. These programmes empower the next generation with the confidence, ability and ambition to succeed in a rapidly changing global economy.
