The initiative is said to have been prompted by the impact of Covid on health and well-being.

Videos and ‘Sow and Grow’ guides are available and can be used by both novices and more experienced gardeners.

The salad starter kits have been funded by Northern Healthy

The initiative was launched by the legacy Newtownabbey Borough Council with videos and ‘Sow and Grow’ guides.
