Dementia Friendly training session

COLERAINE Borough Council held the third Dementia Friendly Community training session in Portrush Town Hall last Wednesday 25th September for the public to understand more about dementia on a personal or professional basis, how to support someone living with dementia and signpost them to local support services.

“We have been working in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Society for many months coordinating local Dementia Friendly Community training sessions to raise awareness of the issues surrounding dementia and the support available locally in the Causeway area.
