Drop in session for hearing aid users returns to Lisburn's Trinity Methodist Church

The next Royal National Institute for the Deaf (RNID) drop in session for hearing aid users will be held at Trinity Methodist and Community Centre, off the Knockmore Road in Lisburn on Wednesday November 23 from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.

This will be the charity’s last session in 2022 as there will be no session in December.

Drop in sessions will continue into 2023 on the fourth Wednesday of every month.

At the sessions the charity can provide information, free batteries, cleaning and replacing tubing on hearing aids .

A vital service for hearing aid users in Lisburn

Hearing aids can also be dropped off by friends or family members and no appointment is needed.

The RNID has been helping people with hearing loss for more than 100 years. The charity’s key achievements include successfully lobbying the NHS to provide free hearing aids in 1948 and hearing-screening for newborn babies in 2000.
