Emergency Departments at Craigavon and Daisy Hill hospitals ‘very busy’ says Trust

The Southern Health Trust has issued an alert this afternoon warning that two Emergency Departments are ‘very busy’.

The Trust says that there are high numbers of people attending both Craigavon Hospital and Daisy Hill Hospital in Newry.

A spokesperson said: “We are very busy this pm in both Emergency Departments at Daisy Hill and Craigavon Area Hospitals - as high number of people attending.

“Please only attend if you need emergency treatment and consider alternative healthcare options.
