Despite many years of trading and experience at their Church Street premises, Beauty Within has now moved to a brighter, more spacious location - giving staff and customers a new lease of life!

Open five days a week, with late night opening on Thursdays, Lisa McAleese is the proud owner of this established salon having taken it over when she was just 19-years-old.

Lisa has over 13 years experience in the beauty industry and prides herself in her extensive array of treatments and products.

Speaking to the Times, Lisa explained: “I’ve been in business along Church Street for 13 years. Beauty Within was an established business when I first went to work there. However after just one year I was given the opportunity to take on the business - I was young and fearless! Off I set as a proud salon owner undertaking many courses so I could offer my utmost best to all clients.

“I love my job, looking after all of my customers. My aim at Beauty Within is to offer our clients a relaxing environment where they can come and be pampered using the best products without breaking the bank.

“Over the years we have specialised in a wide range of beauty and after treatments whilst also offering holistic therapies in a serene environment. Our dedicated and friendly therapists are all highly experienced and are able to offer personal and professional treatments in a peaceful environment.”

After five years of business in Church Street, Estilo Hair Salon opened beside Beauty Within offering hair and beauty under one roof.

Lisa continued: “This was great news, not only for Beauty Within but also our clients. What more could anyone want...hair and beauty under one roof?”

However Beauty Within’s success story hasn’t ended there. Returning only five months ago after having a little girl, Lisa has now undertaken a new challenge by moving with Estilo from Church Street to Main Street.

Lisa added: “The new salon has given us a new lease of life. It’s much brighter, modern and more private to carry out consultations and enables me to provide good customer care. The salon includes a tan room, two treatment rooms, a private nail bar and a luxurious facial room where we can carry out a wide range of Mary Cohr facials and messages.

“Another advantage of our new premises is the use of a lift throughout the salon, enabling us to have disabled and buggy access.

“Bridal make-up, spray tanning, nail extensions, bio-sculpture gel, Gelish, reflexology, aromatherapy, Indian head massage, advanced waxing, tinting, electrolysis, facials, manicures and pedicures - we still do them all. However we are also offering new treatments including Mary Cohr peel and lift facials, semi permanent eyelashes and Gelish (the ability to soak off nail polish lasting three weeks) plus teeth whitening.

“The peel and lift facial is a skin renewal product which allows the complexion to feel radiant and more luminous as well as fading away age spots - it has to be used to be believed.

“So whether you’re getting ready for a holiday, have a special occasion to go to or simply want a bit of pampering, we can do it no problem.

“Over my many years of training and trading I have built up a great clientele list. Every customer is very special and I really look forward to welcoming both old and new customers to the new and improved Beauty Within.”
