MLA Dobson’s praise for Trust staff

ULSTER Unionist MLA Jo-Anne Dobson has praised the dedication of the Southern Trust staff who were nominees and winners at the 2012 Southern Trust Excellence Awards held recently in Craigavon Civic Centre.

Commenting she said: “The sheer number of dedicated nominees at the Awards ceremony was staggering, including groups and individuals from across our local towns and villages. Whilst every single nominee is a winner in their own right through the quality care which they provide, I send my warm congratulations to those who picked up Awards at the Ceremony.

“I was especially taken by the work of the Fit 4 U volunteers including Waringstown’s very own fitness guru Sandra Ledlie. I was proud to cheer them all on as they took to the stage in the Community Service – Award for Excellence in Volunteering category.

“I cannot speak more highly of the doctors, nurses and domestics who every day through their work care for others. None of us know when we may need to avail of their dedicated care, either for ourselves or for our relatives or friends.”
