An exceptional £3025 has been raised for Southern Area Hospice Services NI by Lt Clare McLelland of Banbridge Detachment and Cdt Sgt Horsman of Banbridge Academy Detachment. £2000 was raised by Lt McLelland who planned to run the, now postponed, London Marathon to raise funds for Southern Area Hospice, as a thank-you for providing gold standard quality care for her late Mother who was a resident in the Hospice. She will run the 26.2 mile distance when it’s safe to do so.

Cdt Sgt Horsman organised a sponsored fitness event in his Detachment to help Lt McLelland with her fundraising efforts. £1025 was raised by Sgt Horsman and the detachment, which also counted towards his APC 4 Star Cadet In The Community.
