Politicians unite for Lapland Trust

Two politicians from the North West have come together to help promote a children’s charity event.

Each year the charity ‘Lapland Trust’ takes children with very severe life limiting conditions on a trip to Lapland.

This is a costly venture but there is a worthwhile musical event on in the Millennium Theatre this Friday evening to help fund the exercise. Each year children from the North West benefit and Gregory Campbell MP and Pat Ramsey MLA have encouraged people to support the venture.

The Londonderry Musical Society and the Brittannia Concert Band are putting on a tremendous show of West End musical proportions on Friday.

Both Gregory Campbell and Pat Ramsey said “This is a very worthwhile cause, please support it and help very vulnerable children enjoy what is literally and unfortunatley for many of them a once in a lifetime trip to Lapland.”
