UNISON to hold protest at Causeway A&E

UNISON is planning to hold a protest outside the Accident and Emergency unit of the Causeway Hospital tomorrow (Wednesday).

The public service trade union will protest against cuts to the Causeway Hospital from 12.30pm - 1.30pm.

UNISON representative Kim Hall said: “UNISON is calling on all staff and members of the public to come along to the protest on Wednesday, March 28th at A&E at the Causeway Hospital.

“Together we stand and together we can make a difference.”

Ms Hall said that members of the public from the rural areas served by the Causeway Hospital such as Ballymoney and Ballycastle would be most welcome to join the protest.

She also added that anyone who wishes to join the trade union UNISON can join online or can phone (028) 9070 0190.
