14 throwback photos of Ulidia Integrated College rocking to the sound of a guitar hero

A guitar hero rocking up to play at your school may have been just a dream for many young people, but for the pupils of a Carrick school it became a reality.

Former Supertramp member Carl Verheyen brought his guitar workshop to Ulidia Integrated College on a number of occasions between 2007 and 2013. He was accompanied by a talented group of musicians, who shared their skills and knowledge with the students. These pictures from the Carrick Times archive include a joint workshop with Carrick College pupils.
