Belfast International Airport Human Resources Manager, Jaclyn Coulter, said: “The airport has already created hundreds of additional jobs within the past year, and this latest Job Fair will hopefully lead to over 100 positions being filled.

“Some of these jobs are replacement posts, but the vast majority are new. That’s because passenger numbers are steadily increasing thanks to the growth that is being driven by our airlines.

“We expect to accommodate 5.4million passengers this year, which would be a new record for the airport. Naturally enough, that growth leads to new job opportunities as our companies respond to demand.

“The jobs on offer are across a wide range of activities. For certain positions, ample training will be provided. These jobs also open up career enhancement opportunities with attractive promotion prospects.

“Our previous Job Fairs in Templepatrick and Ballymena attracted enormous interest and we believe the same will be the case at St Mary’s.”
