Adele jets off to Nashville

THIS week local singer songwriter Adele Ingram jetted off to the United States to in Nashville.

Adele, who is originally from Hillsborough, will be showcasing her song ‘Diamonds and Gold’ alongside award winning singer-songwriters at the IBMA songwriter showcase at The World Of Bluegrass festival in Nashville.

Adele is the founder/songwriter for the Belfast based female led bluegrass/roots band Wookalily and has been a supporter of the local music scene through her promotions company One-A-Chord. She has been instrumental in helping many bands break through the scene so it is now fitting that she has her chance to shine.

When Adele returns from Nashville she will be hosting her first bluegrass and roots festival GrassStock in Belfast’s Avalon Arts & Crafts Village at the Haymarket Arcade and The Hudson Bar on October 13.
