African Children’s Choir to hit high note in Ballyclare

THE 38th African Children’s Choir will be performing in Ballyclare Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, October 17 at 7.30pm, as part of their 2012 UK Tour.

The African Children’s Choir melts the hearts of audiences with their charming smiles, beautiful voices and lively African songs and dances. Their programme features well-loved children’s songs, traditional spirituals and rhythmic gospel favourites.

Many of the 17 young performers from Uganda have lost one or both parents to poverty or disease. But in spite of the tragedy that has marred their young lives, the children are radiant with hope, musically gifted and always wonderfully entertaining.
