Ballintoy Archaeological and Historical Society

The meetings of Ballintoy Archaeological and Historical Society will resume on Thursday 27 September at 8pm in Ballintoy Parish Hall.

The guest speaker, Mr Patrick Casement, will give an illustrated talk on Roger Casement and his North Antrim connections.

A complex and controversial character, Roger Casement served as a British diplomat, gaining an international reputation for humanitarian work, before being hanged in August 1916 for his activities as an Irish nationalist.

New members and visitors are very welcome and refreshments will be served after the meeting.
