The food bank will be making hampers for those who need some extra help this Christmas.

Steven McAuley, member pioneer from the Ballycastle and Bushmills Co-op stores, said: “It was great to see so much community spirit at the food collection, so many people donated very generously to help those in need this Christmas.

“This was also a great opportunity to welcome the food bank, who are also one of this year’s Ballycastle store Local Causes, in store. I would urge anyone who is a Co-op member to go online and choose their preferred cause for their local store.”
